Buried Under

Yesterday, we got 9 inches of snow here in Topeka. Drifts are much deeper. It has been a long time since I have seen that much snow here. Heck, I never seen that much during the time I lived at 920 W. Wilson in Chicago (there is even a song called 920 about that address).

Anyway the snow did help cause a major accident just west of town
KDOT is reporting that Westbound I-70 is closed from Milepost 353/Auburn Road to K/30 at Maple Hill just west of Topeka. Traffic is detoured to US-75 then across to US-24.
