Spring Time

With spring here, it is once again time to give myself a haircut. You may remember, that last year, I bought my own hair clippers. Since then, I have been cutting my own hair, however, I let it grow over the winter, it was just to cold (in my opinion) to have a crew cut. Now that warmer weather has returned, so has the days of shaving my head.

However, cutting my own hair is just the beginning of the week. This is the week I took my first (of 3) weeks of vacation. A week that I plan to super clean my home and storage shed. Celebrate my 2nd blog-aversary (tomorrow), get my taxes done and end the week by attending the stockholders meeting for the LLC that I own a few shares in. It has been several years since I have returned home to attend the meeting of this small rural telephone company and I am actually looking forward to making the trip this year.

I love how you've chosen to sacrifice certain things in order to become debt free. We just finished a churchwide journey called "Consumed" (well, actually, citywide ... there were over 30 other Cincinnati area churches that joined us -- awesome!!) and it was centered around how we are so consumed by "things" in our daily lives when it is God that wants us to be consumed by only Him. Good stuff.

Thanks Joyce. I received your email, and am planning to write about the program and website. I have already looked at the site and briefly played with the tools, and I must say it is very interesting.

Many banks and credit debt companies which have piled up their stocks are expanding their personal and commercial services. On individual level, student loan services are being offered at nominal interest rates. While commercially, banks have really queued up to sell out the merchant accounts combined with a merchant card. Merchant account lets you accept the online payment through credit cards. Such services can now easily be availed through online bank.
