I have to keep track of our scores becuase of our jobs, my current employer checks credit reports as part of the hiring process, so I can see that becoming a trend in the future. Also we will probably never be able to purchase a home with cash so I want to keep a good score so I can always get a good rate.

I agree with you about the FICO.

Sometimes I feel like we are all under some Fair Issac spell. Its ridiculous to think that unless you are borrowing money that you aren't credit worthy. I'd rather just live debt free and pay cash for everything.
