If he were to sell the property, we would have enough money to buy a house outright.<BR/><BR/>Why should we take a mortgage for our home if we could pay it outright? I mean once you take a mortgage, over the years you wind up paying for the home several times.<BR/><BR/>Many people will tell us that we should invest the money. But why invest money in this type of market which is uncertain from day to day? We could have the house paid for in the clear and live with no worries.
